In some cases children are bed ridden because they are too heavy to get up and move around. In the most extreme cases children have died because of strokes and heart related issues. These problems are very serious and they have the ability to inhibit your child’s day-to-day life. The first step is to confront this problem and acknowledge the seriousness of the issue. Obesity needs to be addressed and the parents should lead the way. A positive, mental, and emotional plan of action is necessary in order for success to occur.
